Hope For Haiti Telethon

Hope For Haiti aired this passed Friday, the telethon raised more than $57 million, watching the entire telethon was emotional, the stories in addition to the singers who sang their own rendition of popular hope & resilience songs, shook me and I was tearing up so much.

One story about a man believing and hoping his wife was still alive under the earthquake's rubble, was in fact alive stating "Dead or Alive: she loves her husband".

Even in my local Kroger grocery store, there are Haiti charitable donation set up at each check out counter; I donated what ever change I received back from my change to the donation box.

I felt the "Best" perfomances were sung by these Singers and Song Writers:

Mary J Blige who sung 'Hard Times" Come Again No More"

Christina Aguilera sung amazingly beautiful: "Lift Me Up"

Madonna  sang an up beat: “Like a Prayer” with a choir, that was phenomenally joyous

Jay-Z Rapped while on stage U2's Bono & Rihanna gave vocals to:

"'Stranded' at Haiti  (Haiti Mon Amour)"

Taylor Swift Soft and gentle song: "Breathless"

Wyclef Jean with his Country flag draped over his neck, closed the telethon with a Inspiring and Up Lifting: Rivers of Babylon
