I was casually skimming through the world of ebay sneakers when I spotted this picture of Nike Air Max Plus TN's

Wait, are those Nikes? Are those Nike Air Max Plus TN's????

So I click on the link and this is what the auction page says:

Two-Toned Athletic Sneakers Set the trends with this inspired sneaker. Lace up design with Two Tone color. Lightly padded insole.

Wow, they had me fooled, it looks like the real thing! Only on the sides of these very nice looking KNOCK OFFs are big arse lettering: AIR

And of course on these Likeys ( fake ass nikes): there is no Nike logo nor big beautiful padded tongue showing another logo: Hell Nike air max Plus TN's have logo all over the damn sneakers!

If I took a real good look at these shameful Likey's, I would have notice the horribleness of NO logos of authenticity! There's about more than a dozen of other genuine items these kicks Dont have, but hey looking at what's most noticeable: That's enough to laugh at these shams or get quite irritated: The audacity: How dare they!

I understand eBAY is probably a good place to find imitations galour: but seeing those knock off's irritated me!

I love TN's, since the day I got my first pair back in 99', and still love them, even the fun and funky colors for the anniversary TN's:

New News to Me: FHM & Rachel Ray? Say What?!

I was looking for a recipe for coffee cookies (yes I love coffee and cookies) so I wanted to expand my bakery knowledge and go forth making a tasty cafe concoction.

So anyway, I googled rachel ray: since I know most of her recipes are yummy and quick to make. I stumbled upon some pictures of miss rachel midriff showing and sporting a very tiny gingham apron: I was like wow: who would photoshop RR (rachal and I are so close I call her RR for short), face on some models body?

I laughed and saw which website I was actually on and it was FHM: I really wanted to know what was going on, was rachel ray head being posted on various websites for kicks?


Lol, NOPE Rachal Ray was offer to appear in FHM in 2003 (im not sure if thats the correct year), and she said yes.

I know I'm late about half a decade late: but it was New news to me!

Obama Too Popular For His Own Good?

It seems many did not like what our President was wearing in the All Star game last Wednesday: Calling his faded denim jeans: "Mom Jeans". As stupid as this topic is, I had to touch on this issue of President Obama and the Personal choices he makes.

Not only do I find it irritating but nonsensical stupidity! And just to point out that I am not on anyone side but the side of: intelligence: this has nothing to do with him being African American or the best looking president America as ever had!


I am not defending him, but I am asking why cant our President be a normal male species of the HUMAN RACE? I mean come on nothing was wrong with his jeans, if you actually look at the picture where he is practicing his pitch: The foot that is on the ground his cuffs are long enough to cover his sneakers: Which I feel is the "rule of thumb" (or is that fashion 101?) when it comes to how long should man's pants leg should reach:


Yes his jeans did raise: LIKE ALL JEANS DO, when you lift an leg up! I mean it was so stupid I HAD TO comment! Not only that, lets not forget Our President is 6'1: a tall man, and as you know its hard to find jeans flattering for a tall slim man. If anything his jeans were a little snug: but I've notice that his styling choice: besides baggy hoodlum jeans just doesnt look great for his mature define age! This is not an excuse but common sense.

Obama apparently is a mans man not some tutti fruti: O-M-G (what am I to wear) down low black man. He stated he was comfortable and he HATES shopping: a typical male response: and God Bless Him


This goes beyond critiquing: it's STUPIDITY to the utmost.


President Obama may be too Popular. Making the public and press more freely to comment on the most personal of matter: no matter how inane it is!

Food Combing and The Alkaline Diet

It's been over three months of me obsessing over what regimen I would like to start, either: food combining and or a high alkaline diet. It doesnt takes much for me to start anything I'm interested in, but I guess I'm making sure I'm mentally ready to start and continue eating a certain way for at least 3 months. I know 3 months isn't a lifestyle of healthy living, but I want to see what regimen is best for me.




Now I know some say if the blood isnt tested for high levels of acidity then eating alkaline foods arent enough. I say It's better than nothing, for now anyway....






So I have unofficially started two weeks ago The Alkaline Diet to balance my very out unbalance body. I bought ph strips to test my acidity levels: Urine & Saliva, making sure I check both, my saliva could be acidic, while my urine reads alkaline.


I'm eating High alkaline foods and low acidic foods, and I have notice a difference in my complexion, digestion, and appetite: All good I should add.



I stocked up of fruits, veggies, and almonds: Organic when I have the money


And I got my pen and pad out making sure I take notes to see how my body's adjusting to eating this way. I stay away from or eat a little as possible Rice, Potatoes, Corn Etc: Acidic foods






I eat a lot of Fruit and Veggies that are low acidic such as: Apples, cherry, strawberries, blueberries, melons, organic spinach, organic baby carrots, broccoli, lima beans.

I researched eating beans on a high alkaline diet; I learn that beans are very acidic! I love ma beans: give the latina a break! Black beans, kidney beans, I love BEANS.

And no I do Not get gassy (I know, too much info), I love beans and do not experience what many joke: is the "musical fruit". Since legumes are highly acidic I'm sticking to the green types of beans: lima beans, green beans


The Alkaline diet I feel is easy to remember what to eat, I eat 80% fruit, veggies, and nuts: Almonds, and limit starchy foods: simple enough. Food combining is a different story for me, call me slow but I find it difficult pair up fruits I like to eat, or protien all in one meal.

I mean its very similar to an alkaine diet, but then, its not I find myself getting extremely hungry with food combing. I think my body digest the food i'm combining very quickly leaving me VERY hungry. Since I have to wait at least 2-4 hours in between, thats not cool, I have self control but I do not like my body feeling weird, hungry, or both!


I do have "before" pictures (pre-alkaline reggie): I'll post them once I shape my "post alkaline body", lol



Oh Yea: I heard eating too many fruit makes a person fat: Great... Its offical I'm confused

I know of a couple of sellers, my cousin is actually selling these earrings as well,<- dont know if she has a website). They are too cute: perfect with a bright summery Maxi dress, sandals, and a puff or twist out in my hair: I'm visualizing my summer style guys!

Before summer is gone I want a silk maxi dress: Yes silk,I can imagine the feel! I saw a really cute Maxi dress on Ebay that is silk, its gorgeous, but I'll be hitting up the mall and macy's to see if I can find one thats right for me before I online shop: Though I do love a good online bargain.

Emerald Isle on the 4 of July 2009

The family and I went on a mini vacation to Emerald Isle in North Carolina

The water is turquoise, the sand is sugary white, and the young crowd that was there were RUDE! They act like they owned the beach; their language was distasteful I had my niece and nephew along for this fun trip and these beach bums had potty mouths! Everywhere we walked someone was casually cursing: whats up with that?

It's a privately owned beach, $5 bucks gets you on the beach

Wind Surfing is 75 bucks and up

The firework display was very cool and pretty: Hues of purples, reds, and greens: was awesome!




The weather was wonderful on the four of July! A nice breeze was blowing, the beach bodies were hot (I wish mines was). There wasn't many young guys walking around(they thought it was lame to get in the water), but the men that were on the beach had niiiice bodies. Oh and the water was fine: not too cold not too hot, theres a sandbank where you can stand on: so cool


I had a great time: I'm a bronzed statue now! But it's all good, this tan represent me having relaxing time on the beach, yay.

The water was gorgeous, and there was a wonderful fireworks display at night, just before we decided to head home.

I didn't take any pictures and I am a photography fein, but I was so lazy and sleepy I pretty much played in the water most of the time (yea, like a big kid), slept a little, and finished a novel I was reading, lol: Hey I enjoyed myself

I'm not sure if I do, I remember having a discussion (discussion I sound like an old fogey), fogey who the hell says foggy? Anyway I was talking with my sis while watching some movie I think titanic or some olden day movie when love supposedly was "true".

She said: Thats when love was true, and you love someone for who they were because no one really "had" things back in the day

I says: No, not really since many people only live to their 30's (that was consider, a ripe old age), and many marriage was arranged (if wealthy) and was arranged based on what the man status. Women married because of tradition more importantly what a man could offer. <- I'm not stating this the way I want to, but I hope you know what I'm getting at.

I was thinking about how people get into relationships and how many are based on untruths.

Like on the Simpsons Moe was talking to this lady on the internet, he was afraid to send a picture of himself, but in the end he sent his picture anyway saying: "I cant start the relationship on a lie, lies comes later on in the relationship".

As funny as that statement is, it's also true and irritating because thats how many people operate in relationships.


And speaking of relationships whats up with Kayne West song: "Love Lock Down"

My interpretation of this single verse is: Women love man to the extreme but she truly doesnt know enough about him (to love him to this extent) or

loves him but is blinded by her "love" for him so she "over love" him or love him to the point where she find flaws or find out some bad isht about him

If this is how you understood the lyrics: big ups, though if your saying what the hell am I talking about what?


I think thats exactly how kanye west meant for the lyrics to be viewed: if not then oops I "over" interpret...


But again the whole song annoys me, because its truly a mans ode:


1. Being confused as hell, but not confused enough to actually leave the relationship


2. then have the nerve to tell the women to choose if she wants him or the relationship at all: not taking any responsibility for his actions or emotions


3. And last but not least pushing the lady away, stating I dont need you, cause I can do bad all by myself and your turning me into someone I dont wish to be (aka a better person) or a man whos say what he means and do as he says. And that is why Love Lock Down annoys me: It truly is a guy feelings put into lyrics: UGH!


So I am rambling, I really dont know if I believe in love, maybe everyone is here (on earth) to use people to get a certain feeling, because it seems to me love doesnt last; and working at the relationship no one seems to want to do.


This era of time everyone is for themselves: own car, apartment, money: independance: what is a relationship truly for? And if its just to have the title, then in many people minds sideline relationship are ok, though many have to lie to their partner (main girl guy) to maintain the down low relationship flawlessly.

Have you ever watched a movie and the movie itself or one of the characters in the movie reminds you of a special person in your life?

Well I was watching Falling in Love with Robert De niro and his character reminded me of a special person in my life that went away. I was so "emotional" (no I didnt cry), I just stop watching the movie all together, It made me think of him, and I miss him so much.
